About Invest For Kids
- Founded in 2009, Invest For Kids hosts an annual Investable Ideas Conference that brings together the investment community with world-class speakers, who share their market views, industry insights, and best ideas.
- All the dollars raised through sponsorships and ticket sales are awarded via a rigorous grant application process to highly impactful nonprofit organizations supporting Chicago youth in low-income circumstances.

2024 Event Recap & Highlights
- The Invest For Kids 16th Annual Conference was held on October 22, 2024 and brought together nearly 900 attendees for a day of idea sharing and connectivity.
- The conference featured a dynamic speaker line-up of asset managers & industry leaders taking the stage to offer unique expertise and present their best investable ideas through a combination of individual presentations and fireside chats.
- We raised more than $1.9 million – our biggest fundraising total to date – thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and attendees. All dollars raised will be awarded to 8 carefully selected nonprofit organizations and support ongoing IFK initiatives.
- Our John L. Kelley Jr. Student Sponsorship enabled 150 students from 11 universities to attend our conference and an exclusive lunch event with John Schrieber, the retired founder of Blackstone’s real estate business.
- More than 100 women joined for a post-conference Women’s Power Hour, taking the opportunity to meet one another, discuss takeaways, and make valuable connections.
