Invest For Kids hosts an annual investment conference where top investment managers share their market views and best investable ideas. All of the proceeds from the conference go to not-for-profit organizations serving Chicago area youth from disadvantaged communities. Since 2009, Invest For Kids has donated more than $20 million to over 85 high performing organizations.
Dear IFK Friends and Family,
As we celebrate our 15th anniversary, we have set an ambitious target to raise $2 million to support our mission. Each year, Invest For Kids receives approximately 100 grant applications, and the generous contributions from our community allow us to fund seven outstanding beneficiaries. Many more organizations meet our rigorous bar than we are able to fund, though, and meeting our goal would allow us to increase our impact by making ten grants this year.
The investment community has supported the nonprofit sector through good times and bad. As organizations and the young people and families they serve continue to navigate the impacts of the pandemic and economic slowdown, we believe it is our responsibility to step up our support.
We will continue to pay 100% of Invest For Kids’ operational expenses, allowing all conference proceeds and donations to go directly to our mission. We are grateful for the support we’ve received from the investment community over the past fifteen years, and look forward to the next fifteen years of supporting young people in Chicago together.
