2024 Conference Details
- Networking Lunch, 11:30am-12:45pm
- Come early to enjoy an informal lunch generously provided by our friends at Farmer’s Fridge and connect with your colleagues and peers in the investment community.
- The Conference, 1-4pm
- Our main program will feature well-known investment managers taking the stage to share their market views, industry insights, and best ideas through a combination of individual presentations (15m) and fireside chats (30m). An intermission will take place midway through the conference.
- Women’s Power Hour, 4-5p
- New this year! As a part of IFK’s commitment to supporting women in finance, we’ll be hosting a Women’s Power Hour immediately following the conference. This special networking event will offer a space for women attendees to meet one another, discuss takeaways from the conference, and make valuable connections.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where does the Invest for Kids Conference take place?
The conference and related networking events will all take place at our long-time home, the Harris Theater, located at 205 E Randolph St, Chicago, IL 60601. The Harris Theater is easily reached via public transportation, car, bike, or on foot. Please visit the theater’s website for more information on getting to the theater, including parking validation if you choose to drive. All Conference attendees should enter the theater at the lobby entrance on Upper Randolph, where registration will take place.
I’ve registered for the event, but haven’t yet received a “ticket”. What should I do?
You’ve done enough! There are no tickets or assigned seats for the Invest for Kids Conference. After you’ve registered online, you’ll receive a confirmation email and ongoing communication in advance of the event. At the conference, you’ll check in at the registration desk under your own name to receive your name badge and entry to the event.
What can I expect during the networking lunch?
A casual networking lunch will take place before the conference from 11:30am and 12:45pm on site at the Harris Theater. Meals will be generously provided by Farmer’s Fridge and include salads, bowls, and sandwiches. Vegetarian and vegan options will be available.
What can I expect during the Women’s Power Hour?
All women attendees are invited to take part in an exclusive reception after the conference concludes, from 4:00-5:00pm! The reception will be an opportunity to make valuable connections over passed drinks and hors d’oeuvres.
How do you all select the nonprofit beneficiaries of the conference?
We have an open call for grant applications each spring. Our beneficiaries are carefully selected after a months-long due diligence process. You can learn more about our focus, criteria, and the selection process here.
Our Audience
The conference brings together portfolio managers, family offices, private investors and analysts from across the financial services, hedge fund, private equity, and real estate industries. The event provides a unique forum to hear well-articulated investment ideas and time to interact with colleagues and peers in the investment community.
