Where does the Invest for Kids Conference take place?

The conference and related networking events will all take place at our long-time home, the Harris Theater, located at 205 E Randolph St, Chicago, IL 60601. The Harris Theater is easily reached via public transportation, car, bike, or on foot. Please visit the theater’s website for more information on getting to the theater, including parking validation if you choose to drive. All Conference attendees should enter the theater at the lobby entrance on Upper Randolph, where registration will take place.

I’ve registered for the event, but haven’t yet received a “ticket”. What should I do?

You’ve done enough! There are no tickets or assigned seats for the Invest for Kids Conference. After you’ve registered online, you’ll receive a confirmation email and ongoing communication in advance of the event. At the conference, you’ll check in at the registration desk under your own name to receive your name badge and entry to the event.

What can I expect during the networking lunch?

A casual networking lunch will take place before the conference from 11:30am and 12:45pm on site at the Harris Theater. Meals will be generously provided by Farmer’s Fridge and include salads, bowls, and sandwiches. Vegetarian and vegan options will be available.

What can I expect during the Cocktail Hour?

All attendees are invited to take part in a casual reception after the conference concludes, from 4:30-5:30pm! The reception will be an opportunity to make valuable connections over drinks and light bites.

How do you all select the nonprofit grantees of the conference?

We have an open call for grant applications each spring. Our grantees are carefully selected after a months-long due diligence process. You can learn more about our focus, criteria, and the selection process here.
