Chicago Children’s Advocacy Center
The Chicago Children’s Advocacy Center (CCAC) mission is to unite public, private and community partners to ensure the safety, health and well-being of abused children. The CCAC opened in 2001 and serves as a central location for intake, investigation and follow-up for victims of sexual abuse, ages 0-17, and severe physical abuse, ages 0-3, in Chicago. The CCAC starts with the principle that no one agency or professional alone can prevent and treat the problem of child abuse, that a multidisciplinary and community response is necessary.
