Ignite stands with youth on their journey to homes and futures with promise. The organization envisions a world in which young people are defined by their potential, not their circumstance. Ignite provides preventative services through a comprehensive housing model and core services that include individualized case management, wraparound support services, life skills training, mental healthcare, and a caring community of adults for unaccompanied or unstably housed youth ages 10 – 26 in the city of Chicago.

Through the principles and application of trauma-informed care and positive youth development, Ignite will expand its impact and reach to the West Side of Chicago and other areas in need. The thoughtful investment from Invest for Kids will spearhead Ignite’s programmatic evolution, establishing a mobile outreach unit and a deeper presence throughout Chicago—transforming lives and empowering youth wherever they are.
