LEARN Charter School Network

Beginning with one school in 2002, LEARN Charter School Network has grown into a nationally recognized, successful network of college prep elementary charter schools. After having grown by leaps and bounds over the past several years, LEARN currently has eight K-8 schools serving nearly 3,100 underserved scholars in the Chicago area. Demand for LEARN continues to exceed supply – with wait lists in the hundreds for its schools. The reason for this demand is simple: LEARN’s mission is to provide children with the academic foundation and ambition to earn a college degree. Getting into a LEARN school means that your child will learn, be safe, be known and cared for, and have the desire and viability to go to college. 95% of LEARN alumni have graduated from high school and 93% attend college, proving that low-income does not mean low academic outcomes.
