LINK Unlimited Scholars

LINK “links” high potential Black students to a path of success that moves them to, through, and beyond college. Its four-year high school fellowship gives Scholars the resources and tolls they need for lifelong success and achievement. The year-round programming supports LINK Scholars throughout high school in academic enrichment, leadership development, career exposure, and college access. Each Scholar is matched with a volunteer mentor, professionals from around the city who serve as a support and guide throughout the Scholar’s high school journey. In addition, LINK’s two -year Junior LINK fellowship supports middle-school students in navigating high school selection, boosting academic standing, exploring college and career options and finding clarity in personal identity and values.

LINK Scholars possess an impressive 100% high school graduation rate and a 100% acceptance rate at selective colleges and universities. LINK Scholars also boast a 60% four year graduation rate, as compared to the national average of 41% four year graduation rate for all students. With awards, grants, and scholarships secured with the support of LINK’s programming, Scholars start their careers with as little debt as possible. The LINK class of 2021 collectively received $12M in college aid (68% received full tuition; 71% received $200,000, and 13% received over $1,000,000). LINK’s program model empowers Scholars to access their potential and change their life trajectory while infusing the professional landscape with future talent and leaders. This will be the ripple effect seen for years to come – for the Scholars, their families, and the city as a whole.
