Primo Center

The Primo Center for Women and Children is a community agency founded by the late Bishop Quintin Primo, Jr., dedicated to children and families in West Garfield Park and the surrounding neighborhoods. As the Primo Center transforms from a stand-alone interim housing shelter for homeless families to a multi-program social services organization, we are engaging key community partnerships to address critical needs of the neighborhood. These neighborhoods are in need of community support to address poverty, crime, trauma, and lack of mental health services. Through the utilization of collaborative care and trauma-informed practices, the Primo Center is providing comprehensive care from cradle to career to provide transformative experiences in the areas of housing, therapy, education, health care, and community support.
