Reading In Motion

Reading In Motion’s mission is to get every at-risk student reading at or above grade level in the first years of school through the power and discipline of the arts. We advance this mission through year long training, coaching and supporting of kindergarten and first grade classroom teachers, as they deliver our program, available in both English and Spanish. Our program focuses on helping Chicago schools in low-income neighborhoods to achieve early reading success by getting students excited about learning through music and drama.
