Christian has over 25 years of investing experience and is CIO of Sourcerock. He was previously a partner and portfolio manager at Balyasny Asset Management (BAM) where he ran both energy and industrials allocations for 15 years. Christian was consistently a top profit generator and became a partner three years after joining the firm. Within BAM, he launched and managed the ZIE fund, as a separate outside portfolio for investors dedicated to the energy and industrial sectors. Prior to BAM, Christian was a portfolio manager at Fidelity Investments where he managed Fidelity Select Natural Gas, Select Software, and Select Consumer at various points in his career. Christian graduated from University of Michigan Ross School of Business.
