
Jimmy Levin is Co-Chief Investment Officer and Head of Global Credit for Oz Management and is a member of Oz Management’s Partner Management Committee. Mr. Levin is also an Executive Managing Director and a member of the Portfolio Committee.
In his role as Co-Chief Investment Officer, Mr. Levin oversees the Firm’s investment portfolios including capital allocation across investment strategies and geographies. As Head of Global Credit, Mr. Levin is responsible for managing the Firm’s dedicated credit portfolios. During his tenure, Mr. Levin has been instrumental in building Oz Management’s global credit platform, which now spans multiple products and geographies including an Opportunistic Credit and an Institutional Credit Strategies platform. Within Opportunistic Credit, Oz Management invests in complex situations across global corporate and structured credit markets. Institutional Credit Strategies is Oz Management’s performing credit platform through which the Firm issues and manages portfolios of loans and other assets. Today, Mr. Levin continues to oversee both the Opportunistic Credit and Institutional Credit Strategies platforms.
Prior to joining Oz Management in 2006, Mr. Levin was an Associate at Dune Capital Management. Prior to that, Mr. Levin was an analyst in the Distressed and Special Situations Group at Sagamore Hill Capital Management, L.P.
Mr. Levin holds a B.A. in Computer Science from Harvard University. Mr. Levin serves on the Leadership Council of the East Harlem Tutorial Program.
