Steve Berg is a founding partner at Lytical Ventures, a New York City based early-stage venture capital fund focusing on cybersecurity, analytics and machine learning. As a function of the investments he has made, he is a board director at multiple companies.
Steve is also the founder and host of Intangibles Podcast, about the traits behaviors and habits that drive success. He created it as a way to share with others the information and behavioral research that informs his investment decisions.
Prior to joining Lytical Ventures, Steve was the General Partner of Antecedent Ventures and was part of the RTP Ventures investment team. Steve has held positions in strategy and corporate development at Emulex (NYSE: ELX) and as a sell-side analyst covering technology at Punk, Ziegel & Co. Steve holds an MBA from Northern Illinois University and a BS in business from Miami University. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation holder.
