John Harris currently serves as the Managing Partner of Ruane Cunniff and is a member of the firm’s Management Committee.
John is an analyst on the Wishbone, Poplar and Sequoia teams. He is the Portfolio Manager of the Wishbone private partnerships, a co-portfolio manager of the Poplar private partnerships and a member of the Sequoia Strategy Investment Committee.
John started his career as an investment banking analyst at Goldman Sachs. He then spent two years as a private equity analyst at KKR before joining Ruane Cunniff in 2003.
John graduated from Harvard University, Magna Cum Laude, with a BA in Social Studies.
