Brian J. Feltzin is the managing member of Sheffield Asset Management, L.L.C., a Chicago-based long/short equity manager that employs a disciplined investment process designed to identify materially mispriced stocks. Sheffield adheres to a deep-value, contrarian investment philosophy and conducts in-depth fundamental research, primarily on companies in North America, Western Europe and Australia.
Prior to founding Sheffield in 2003, Brian was a Partner at Waveland Capital Management, L.P., a Chicago-based value investment partnership. From 1991-1995, Brian worked at JMB Realty Corporation, where he engaged in both real property and operating company acquisitions. He received a B.S. in Finance and Political Science from the Wharton School of Business of the University of Pennsylvania where he graduated magna cum laude. He is a CFA charterholder, as well as a member of Young Presidents’ Organization and the Economic Club of Chicago. Brian is involved in a number of philanthropic endeavors and resides in Glencoe, IL with his wife and three children.
