Stephen White is a principal and co-founding member of Castle Union LLC, a long/short hedge fund formed in 2012. The fund focuses on smaller distressed investments and other special situations that are prone to market inefficiencies. Immediately prior to co-founding Castle Union LLC, Mr. White was a portfolio manager at RMB Capital Management where he was the portfolio manager of the RMB Special Situations Fund. Before RMB Capital Management, Mr. White was an equity analyst for Marlin Capital, a Chicago-based hedge fund where he focused on companies in the financial services and oil and gas sectors. Earlier in his career, Mr. White held roles at Balyasny Asset Management and KPMG. Mr. White earned his B.A. in economics from Fairfield University and M.B.A. from The University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
